To celebrate 50 years of Northern Stage, we worked with a group to collect 50 oral histories from people with a connection to the theatre and created a documentary that explores the first 50 years of the theatre. We also created a short film based on that history. The project was funded by the National Lottery heritage fund and Northern Stage, and was delivered in partnership with the Young Company, Newcastle university library and Northern Stage.
