Participatory Film projects with young people have been at the heart of our work since 2003. Film is an accessible and relevant medium with a lifespan that extends well beyond the end of the project.
Our projects are delivered by Film and TV professionals who are highly experienced at working with young people. We train the participants in all aspects of the film making process, supporting them to develop their own film told from their own unique perspective on life.
The film making and IT skills acquired during the process are extremely relevant to the 21st Century workplace. Groups also learn how to work as a team, time & resource management, project planning, giving and receiving constructive criticism, problem solving and presentational skills; all highly transferable to both the workplace and everyday life.
Below is a short film we made over two weeks working with Southwark Youth Offending Service and Targeted Youth Support Service.
